Lead bronze alloys have a higher lead content than Rg7. Lead bronze is a suitable alloy when there is a high demand for dry running properties and the bearing has a low strain level. 
The high lead content makes for good to excellent dry running properties and the material is softer. The maximum application temperature for lead bronzes should be lower as the lead's mechanical properties change at a rather low temperature (ca. 200º C). Good sliding and dry running properties, suitable for bearings with higher circumferential velocity and acid resistant.
